We are a Belizean family owned and operated resort. Alvin Cabral II and Maria Cabral after living in Florida for 25yrs returned to Placencia to open South Waters Resort, providing in the heart of Placencia a resort with luxury condo apartments and mid range private beach cabanas. For visitors looking for the relatively untouched nature of the tropics Placencia is just that - up until 15yrs ago Placencia was still a quiet fishing village. Now Placencia is the prime destination for visitors looking for a quiet destination with modern conveniences with easy access to the natural wonders of Belize.

Note: Prices are subject to increase in taxes or transportation charges. Regarding meal plans -dinner menu options do not include lobster, medley dishes (small surcharge applicable). Beverages are not included except where indicated on the breakfast menu.

NOTE: The following peak holiday periods Easter and Christmas require a minimum of 3 nights stay to secure reservations. The affected dates for 2011 and 2012 are Christmas - December 18th 2011 through until January 9th 2010, Easter - April 2nd through until April 9th 2012.
